Cash, Check, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

Reimbursify App

You can use the phone app, Reimbursify to submit your superbills directly to your health insurance company. Visit https://reimbursify.com/ for more information.

Out of Network

I will be happy to provide you with a superbill to see if you can get reimbursed. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance provider to verify how out of network plans compensates you for psychotherapy services. I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

• What are my mental health benefits?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
• How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Out of Network

Yes. I offer a 10% discount off therapy rates to individuals in the following fields: educators (e.g., K-12, private, college); college and graduate students; military/veterans and their dependents; and first responders (fire, police, EMT). I reserve several reduced-fee therapy time slots per month. (Please note, this discount applies only to therapy rates and no other services).

Other Services Rates

Administrative services include preparation of treatment summaries, completion of extensive paperwork, extensive communication with other professionals about your care, and the time spent performing any other professional service you may request of me.  Generally speaking, I charge $180 hour (billed in 15-minute increments of $45) for administrative needs.

Consultation and psychological assessment services are billed per project.  Payment schedules for these professional services will be negotiated and documented via contract.

If you become involved in legal proceedings that require my participation, you will be expected to pay for all of my professional time, including preparation and transportation costs, even if I am called to testify by another party. Because of the complexities of legal involvement, my professional fees for participation in legal proceedings are different than for therapy and administrative services and can be discussed if the need arises.

Communication and Security Policy

The security or confidentiality of incoming email from patients is not guaranteed by Therapy and Psychological Service of Nevada. Please consider the nature of the information you choose to disclose via email as well as the security of your outgoing mail server. Patients who choose to communicate via email do so at their own risk.

Office staff and/or your doctor will make every attempt to respond to your email request or concern in less than 48 hours. However, please bear in mind that office email is not checked during the evening hours or on weekends/holidays.

Therapy and Psychological Service of Nevada is not responsible for email loss due to technical failures. Please remember that email may become part of your permanent patient record and may be saved to your chart.
